LIVING YOUR PURPOSE-FILLED LIFE

Hey there, friend! Have you ever felt like there’s more to life than just going through the motions? Like there’s a deeper purpose waiting to be discovered? Well, I’ve been there too. But here’s the good news: You can live a purpose-filled life right now, right where you are, all while following Christ.

Let’s start by rewinding the clock a bit. Picture this: A young woman, lost in a sea of uncertainty, searching for meaning in all the wrong places. Sound familiar? That was me, not too long ago. But then, something changed. I encountered Christ, and everything clicked into place.

Now, living a purpose-filled life doesn’t mean you have to have it all figured out. Trust me, I’m still a work in progress! But it does mean waking up each day with intentionality, with a heart set on following Jesus wherever He leads.

So, how do you do it? How do you live your purpose while living for Christ? Well, let me share a few tips that have helped me along the way.

First off, spend time in prayer and reading the Word. I know, I know, it sounds cliché, but trust me, there’s power in it. Take a moment each day to quiet your mind, to listen for that still, small voice directing you in the right direction. It might not always be easy to hear, but The Holy Spirit is always there, guiding you, shaping you, and reminding you of who you are in Christ and as you grow in Him, the Voice becomes louder and clearer. Asking God in prayers for direction or strength for what is to come is also an important part of the journey as well. Let us not forget the Word of God! The secrets that lie in those passages can only be unlocked through the help of the Holy Spirit,

Next, get plugged into a community of believers. We weren’t meant to do this life alone, you know? Find a church, a small group, or even just a few friends or family who share your faith and your values. These are the people who will walk alongside you, encourage you, and hold you accountable as you strive to live out your purpose on this earth.

Now, let’s talk about serving others. There’s something truly fulfilling about pouring into the lives of those around you, about being the hands and feet of Jesus in a broken and hurting world. Whether it’s volunteering at a local shelter, lending a listening ear to a friend in need, or simply offering a smile to a stranger, every act of kindness matters because as we well know, only God truly knows what anyone is going through and we do not know how our words can impact someone. Remember, the tongue is very powerful, it is important to always speak life into whatever and whoever you can.

But here’s the thing: Living your purpose isn’t just about what you do; it’s about who you are. It’s about living a life of integrity, of honesty, of authenticity. It’s about being true to who you are in Christ and to the God who created you, no matter what the world may say.

And finally, don’t forget to give yourself grace. We all mess up from time to time. We all fall short of the mark (Romans 3: 23-25). But here’s the beautiful thing about grace: It’s always there, Christ is always waiting for us with open arms. So when you stumble, when you fall, don’t beat yourself up. Instead, dust yourself off, ask for forgiveness, and keep pressing forward, knowing that God’s love for you is unending and unconditional and there to strengthen you more in Him.

So there you have it, friend: Living your purpose while living for Christ. It’s not always easy, but it’s oh so worth it. So go ahead, and take that first step. There are amazing things that await you on this adventure called life!

4 Tips on Maintaining Your Faith

Hey! I know in today's world, with everything happening, it is easier for the ways of the world to consume us. Truth be told, I think we're all tired.
